January feels like a natural place to begin.

Having worked closely with founders for the last few years, supporting the day-to-day running of their businesses, I see what it looks like from the inside.

The responsibility. The decisions that never really switch off. The care that goes into doing things properly, even when no one else sees it.

Alongside that, I'm running my own business, raising a family, and trying to build a life that feels steady and sustainable.

Some seasons feel balanced. Others feel heavy. Most are somewhere in between.

What I have learned is that burnout rarely comes from doing too much once. It comes from doing too much quietly, for too long, without space to pause or question the pace.

This monthly note is a place to share what I am noticing about work, life, boundaries, systems, and the small decisions that make things feel calmer or harder.

Sometimes practical.
Sometimes reflective.
Always honest.

If you are a founder who wants to do good work without losing yourself in it, you are in the right place.

Thank you for being here. We will take this slowly.

Until next month,
Christina
